1. Who we are

2. What we collect

This website carries no advertising scripts, no tracking pixels and no third-party embeds. We do not build profiles of visitors, we do not attempt to identify you, and we do not sell or rent any information about you. The only measurement tool on this site is Google Analytics, described in the next section.

3. Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google LLC and, for visitors in Europe, by Google Ireland Limited. It tells us how many people visit the site and which pages they read. When analytics is active, Google sets first-party cookies whose names begin with _ga; these hold a randomly generated identifier used to recognise a returning browser. Google also receives the page address, the referring page, approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and browser information. Google states that Analytics does not store IP addresses. We deliberately send Google only the domain and path of each page, stripping any query string or fragment, so information carried in URLs never reaches it. Google's advertising features are not enabled, no advertising or personalisation signals are sent, and event-level data is retained for 14 months.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics stays switched off until you accept it: no _ga cookie is set and no identifier is created before then. Our legal basis in that case is your consent. Elsewhere analytics is on by default, on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, and you may switch it off at any time.

You can change or withdraw your choice whenever you like through the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. Choosing to reject also deletes the analytics cookies already stored in your browser. Google acts as an independent controller for the data it receives; its handling of that data is governed by Google's own privacy documentation.

4. Hosting

The site is served through Cloudflare infrastructure. As part of delivering the site and protecting it against abuse, Cloudflare may process technical request data — such as IP addresses and user agent strings — in its server logs. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy documentation.

5. Email

If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use that information solely to reply to you and to keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell it and do not share it with third parties.

6. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, together with its effective and last-updated dates.
